Day 2: First Day of School and Doc Appt

This is actually a continuation from yesterday's post. Last evening, we went to Lake Julian and here are a few pictures from our outing! Adam apparently LOVES gnawing on watermelon!
And here's Caleb busy playing with his friend, Judah!
Adam liked the wheel...just think, in 15 years, he'll be behind a REAL one of these! (YIKES!)
Caleb is such a sweet big brother (most of the time) and loves to push Adam on the swing.
And now it is Caleb's turn to swing!
Caleb being goofy when I asked him to look at the camera. He's wearing his glasses he got back in June (for farsightedness) and usually doesn't mind them!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!

Last night, I made him a special "sandwich"...flour tortilla stuffed with herbed cream cheese and genoa salami (we go to a no nut products school). I added a carrot and voila! A butterfly greeted him when he opened his lunchbox!
Here is his official first day of school photograph!
He's SO excited to be back in preschool!

After I dropped Caleb at school, (no tears on either end this time!), it was time for Adam's 18 month check up. He weighed in at 29 lbs 8 oz and measured (90th percentile). He's perfectly healthy and didn't even need any shots! Here he is waiting in the room patiently for the doctor!
I love this toy! It is called "Find It" and is filled with plastic beads and other objects that you have to try to find. I think I'm going to try to make one myself with a 1 liter bottle.
What objects would you put in it to hide?
That's it for now! See you tomorrow!

Glad the boys were all happy about pre-school for Caleb and Adam getting to be with Gramma Cathy and Papa Jeff a couple of days a week. Glad the doctors appt for Adam went well. Glad I have good health and can go play at McDonalds at least once a week with Cathy and the boys. love all, can't wait for Oct 1st for the wedding of Ben and Steph, then we get to wait for LIL Man Phillips. God is so good..
