Day 12: A Ladies' Tea (and a cute video from Saturday)

Here is (on the left) the lovely bride-to-be, Stephanye Gay, who is marrying my brother on October 1st. We were invited out to a tea house for our bridesmaid's luncheon and then back to Connie's for trifle and tea. We had a great time! I tried to snap some pictures throughout the time at Connie's.
Today, Labor Day, usually is the day that we go to the Apple Festival here in Hendersonville, NC. Today, however, it was so drizzly outside that we decided to go to a nearby apple stand and local farm called Lyda Farms right off of Hwy 64. Here are some shots from today!

Dad gave Adam his rain hat.
Some cute chickens!
Caleb was pulling a typical 4 year old pose "Mom, do you HAVE to take another picture?!"
Adam enjoyed playing with the wooden display. The plowman with the horses were made out of corn stalks! (Do you see the blur on the right that is "Adam"?
Double protection!
Some of the beautiful apples we bought! We gave Adam an apple to eat in the car and when Eric asked him to share it, Adam said, "No..."For lunch, we came back home and had burgers stuffed with pimento cheese and chips. We had my mom and dad join us, along with our friends, Dave and Rush.
Eric's beautiful mom, Brenda (or Mimi, as we call her).Adam pillow-fighting Eric!I didn't get ANY good pictures of Caleb today...these were as close as I could get!
As our company has left, we are now enjoying a quiet afternoon while the boys nap. We are anxiously awaiting the rain that is supposed to come in the next few days (and the cooler weather!).

A cute video that Eric took on Saturday of Adam dancing to Blue Man Group!
