Winter is officially here! We got about an 1" of snow overnight, and had some vicious sounding wind, but woke up to a blue sky and a shining sun. The boys were BEGGING to go outside, but as it was 13 degrees at 9am, I told them we had to wait awhile until it warmed up a little bit. I'd bought ski bibs at a consignment shop last year when it was going out of business and got them for around $2 each. They were too big for the boys last year which worked out since we didn't have any snow. This year, they fit them perfectly!
The boys are ready to go!
They loved sliding down the "snow slide" on their boys' fort!
Caleb made me a "garden angel"
Adam kept yelling, "It's the first time of SNOW!!"
View down Number Nine Road towards Emma's Grove Rd.
...and the other direction...
...and the house...
The boys loved the fact that they could lay down in the snow and not get wet (thanks to the ski bibs). Here they are playing in a ditch.
We don't have a sled yet, so the boys were trying to slide down the neighborhood entrance road on their bums.
That's it for now!
