We had a great day today! :) We went to Ingles which is where this picture was shot. The boys are once again enjoying their cookies!
Then we came back home to sort through Caleb's clothes, putting away summer clothes, taking out the small outfits and hanging it all back up. Caleb was the biggest helper in looking at all of the tags for me and telling me the sizes :).
Adam loves to try to dissect the baby monitor!
While Caleb and I were in the living room, I heard this rustling in the kitchen. I went in and saw Adam with a bag of cookies. I told him gently that no, we were not going to have any cookies before supper and to put them back (in the pantry). I walked back into the living room, only to hear a minute later, "Oookie? Oookie?" I went back in and saw that Adam had grabbed himself a plate from the pantry and was preparing to help himself!
Caleb is going through a phase where he LOVES all things airplane related! He has about 20 little die-cast models and we decided to make them a parking garage/nap area by tracing them onto a long piece of paper and then labeling each one with their name. I remember Caleb holding up an airplane and asking if I knew what it was. I replied, "Yes, that is a passenger jet." (I was quite pleased with myself.) Caleb corrected me by saying, "ACTUALLY, Mom, it is a Boeing 767." HA!
Adam is such a book lover. His word for "book" has evolved...about 3 months ago, it was "bap", which evolved into "kuk" and finally this last month it has been a very clear "book"! I love how he grabs a book, flops on the floor and reads to his heart's content!
His favorite books are the board books that have the lift-the-flap feature! Entertains him for HOURS!
Caleb has gotten so good at using the laptop! Here he is playing at Starfall.com and learning how to read!
