As my camera battery died early today, I have no pictures from my camera...however, I do have some pics from Eric's phone of our date night tonight. First, we went to church this morning, had a Ministry Faire during Sunday School, and went out to lunch at Piazza and had a fantastic Greek salad and a wood-fired pizza of chicken, caramelized onions, rosemary, and mozzarella. Eric and I left to go on our date night later that afternoon and first walked around Barnes and Noble, then walked around the mall (it was kind of funny doing the same thing that all these preteeners were doing). We then went to downtown Asheville to walk around for awhile. I had made reservations at Curate, a Spanish tapas place. Eric and I were not able to enjoy tapas while we were visiting Barcelona, so I decided that he needed to try them at least once. We WILL go back! :) So much fun!!

First up, a plate of patatas bravas- fried potatoes topped with a slightly spicy sauce.

And then, one of my favorites, gambas al ajillo (shrimp sauteed with garlic)!

We got the berenjenas (fried eggplant topped with honey and rosemary) but we forgot to take a picture! It was hands down the BEST dish of the night!! Absolutely delectable!

And, our last course was the Spanish chorizo (sausage) served on an olive oil potato puree- delicious!

Definitely going to go back there! What a cool experience!
