These pictures are in no particular order. Adam is 7 weeks old now, about 15 pounds, and only getting up once a night!
He still has his blue eyes and a small amount of light brown/blond hair! He smiles and talks a lot!
My other son, however, smiles a lot UNTIL you try to take a picture. A typical scenario goes like this.
Caleb: "Mommy, can you take a picture of me on the couch please?"
Mommy: "Sure! Let me get the camera. Now smile!"

Mommy: "Caleb, now look at ME, not somewhere else. Now, SMILE!"

Mommy: "NO, not that kind of smile! And where are your eyes?? I need to see some eyes!"

However, this one evening he decided to cooperate and gave us a great smile after he helped Daddy complete a cool space puzzle that we got from our friends Phillip and Amanda Skaggs. He's so proud! It is one of his favorite things to do- we're pretty impressed as the puzzle has 48 pieces, but Caleb will still put some together all on his own! Smart kid!
I love giving Adam a bath. Even if he is fussy before I put him in, as soon as I do, he gets calm. He loves having the warm water poured over his (big) belly, and his hair being washed. Here's a picture of him snuggling in a soft, warm bath towel!
He loves talking to Mr. Monkey!
Smiles and cuddles with Mommy!
Both of our cats are protective of Adam. If he starts crying, Josie comes running to see what the fuss is about. I put Adam down for a nap on our bed the other day, and when I came back 30 minutes later, this is what I found. :)
And, then the other day, Adam and Daddy were snuggling, and Mikey hopped up on the chair to be with "the boys". :)
Adam wanted to try out a "bespectacled" look with Daddy's glasses!
The other day, Adam passed out in my arms to where I could move him or put him anywhere and he would not budge. I laid him on the ottoman (don't worry, we were both standing guard should he make any sudden movements) and he just laid there. He would have slept there if I had let him!
