Busy week for Caleb...

Here he is making faces with Nana and Grandad
(my mom's parents). They came to eat lunch with him (and me!)
My dear Aunt Joan (my mom's sister) turned 50 this year and
had a huge party at her house! Here she is with a pretty smile!

Growin' up!

So, I finally got my pictures downloaded off my camera and thought I would post some. It's hard to believe that my little guy is over a year old (he'll actually be 13 months on Sunday!!). He no longer needs any help with walking, eats almost everything in sight, loves to help me "water" the plants outside, loves bath time (especially with bubbles!)

More grins for Mommy!
Prefers our large white fluffy towels to his smaller, thinner baby towels...go figure!
Has learned how to turn the water on and off in our sink!
This is his David Hasselhoff impersonation...
He wanted to go to church like this, but we made him button it up.

Do you see the spoon inside his onesie? Funny thing is, neither Eric
nor I put it there. One minute, Caleb was playing with a metal spoon. The next
minute, we see him wandering around with it inside his onesie...hmmm...
Does he not look like a baby Ghandi? Except he would never give up food.

I might get thrown in Blogger Prison. I haven't posted anything in quite awhile...forgive me. I have a one year old.

Well, he is now MOBILE!! Starting a few weeks ago, he would take a few hesitant steps, lose confidence in himself, then plop to the floor. It progressed from there, and before we knew it, he is pushing himself from a sitting to a standing position, and walking across the whole room with no problem! He really enjoys it! I need a leash though...

Funny story

and true too!

So, Uncle Ben came over tonight to play Xbox with Eric. I had just given Caleb his bath and asked the guys to keep an eye on him while I made up his cereal. I could tell that they were not really "watching" him, but rather had their eye on game. It was one of those war games, and Ben was about to kill Eric (virtually, that is), things were getting tense, Eric was crying for help, Ben was laughing maniacally, when suddenly....

the screen went blank.


Caleb had pushed the eject button on the Xbox console.


That's my boy.
